  • 3.1/2 cup flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. Instant Yeast
  • 2 Egg
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tbsp. Butter - for the dough
  • 2 tbsp. Butter - for pasting
  • somsom - roasted
  • Nigella sativa seeds
  • honey

Preparation

1- mix all the dough ingredients  then add water to them in two doses then knead them for 5 minutes

2- add butter then carry on with kneading until you get smooth dough

3- divide the dough into 12 balls and cover it for 10 minutes

4- paste a baking tray with butter then spread the dough then fit it on inner edge of the tray and paste it with butter

5- repeat the same procedure with all of the dough balls while pasting every layer with some butter

6- fit the last layer of dough on the outer edge of the tray

7- paste it with egg yolk and sprinkle with Nigella sativa seeds

8- leave it to proof for 30 minutes

9- bake it using 250c oven for 20 minutes

10- serve it with tea
