Molokhiah with rice and vermicelli in the Syrian way

Ingredients

Ingredients

  • 1/2 Kilo meat - cubes
  • 3 tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 6 cloves garlic - sliced
  • 1 onion - chopped small
  • mixed spices
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • 500 g (Corchorus leaves (Molokhiah
  • 1/2 cup fresh coriander
  • 1 cup water
  • almond - skin off

Rice

  • 3 tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 3 nests vermicelli - crushed
  • 2 cup Short Grain Rice
  • 3 cardamom

Preparation

1- Roast the almond in oil then leaves it on a side

2- Using the same pan and oil fry the garlic followed by the onion

3- Add meat, seasoning and water then cook it on low heat until it is well done

4- Add the coriander and the Molokhiah in doses while mixing
Cook it covered for 10 minutes

5- Fry vermicelli then add the rice, water, salt and cardamoms to it
6- Serve Molokhiah with roasted almond and rice or with bread on a side
