Ingredients

Ingredients

  • chicken - skin off
  • 4 tbsp. olive oil
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 3 onion
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 3 Tomatoes
  • 3 tbsp. Parsley - chopped
  • 3 tbsp. coriander - chopped
  • 1/2 cup green olives - seedless

Spices

  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. Turmeric Powder
  • pinch of saffron
  • pinch of food color
  • 1/2 tsp. ginger - powder

Preparation

1- Place the tajen on the cooker then add oil and water in it.

2- Add the chicken and seasoning and cook it until its color get changed.

3-Chop the onion and the tomatoes into slices then add them into the tajen.

4- Wash the olives 3 times to get rid of the salt then add it to the tajen.

5- Add coriander, parsley, salt and black pepper

6- Cook it covered on low heat cooker for almost an hour.

7- You can add some lemon juice or lemon pickles while serving it with rice or bread.
