Ingredients

Ingredients

  • Fresh (or) Frozen Fish filet
  • 3 tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • tsp. white pepper
  • tsp. oregano
  • tsp. paprika
  • tsp. saffron
  • 1 cup Whipping Cream
  • salt
  • lemon zest

Rice

  • 2 cup Short Grain Rice
  • 2 tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 onion - minced
  • cube chicken bouillon
  • 1 stick cinnamon
  • 2 Bay Laurel Leaves
  • 5 cardamom
  • 5 black pepper
  • 1 cup green peas - frozen
  • 1 carrot - diced
  • salt

Preparation

1- Cut fish ( if its frozen wash it and drain it )

2- In a hot pan put oil and garlic, then put the fish, and spices. Fry them for 5 minutes.

3- Reduce the heat and add the saffron after soaking water,.

4- Add water, cream and salt , and simmer for more 5 minutes.

5- After that, fry bleeded lemon , then put it aside.  

6- To make rice: fry onions with olive oil , spices and chicken bouillon  cube, until tender.

7- Add the peas, carrots, and salt and , after two minutes, add water . Cook for 5 minutes.

8- Finally, add the rice and cook  over high heat for about 5 minutes, then reduce to low heat and simmer until the rice is cooked.

9- Serve  with lemon slices.
